Pointe Preparation and Conditioning

Friday afternoon from 12:45pm to 1:15pm

This class starts with excesises that train proprietion and muscle memory using thera bands, Pilates balls and wobble cushions. This strengthens the muscles which are required for strong technique on pointe.

Followed by demi pointe work - echappés and relevés etc, to build further strength and technical placement. Lastly you can put on your pointe shoes, or continue in soft shoes, we work on more complex enchainments, and do some corner work.

This class is taught by Shani Nash.


Beginners to Advanced

Suitable for people returning to dance or who understand the fundamental technique.

Suitable for people with strong experience and technique.
