Gill Barnes

As a child Gill attended the Eileen Denny School of Dancing during which time she performed at the Kingston Empire and Richmond Theatre.

She has since taken part in several stage, fashion and cabaret shows, both amateur and semi-professional. After joining Woking Dance Space she now enjoys the challenge of teaching and choreography.

Gill teaches Daytime Tap, Daytime Jazz.

Gretchen Fox Kiefer

Gretchen Fox Kiefer

Dancing and teaching for over 25 years, Gretchen is a former professional dancer and founder member of Island Moving Company (USA).

She undertook numerous tours, performances and out reach programmes with Island Moving Company, and also performed with Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and several Colorado ballet companies. Gretchen also choreographed for Island Moving Company, Little Theater of the Rockies and the University of Northern Colorado.

She has taught dance at the Newport Academy of Ballet, University of Northern Colorado and currently teaches for the Susan Robinson School of Ballet and the British Ballet Organization.

Gretchen teaches American Jazz, Advanced Ballet, co-directs our bi-annual show and is also a Trustee of Woking Dance Space.

Eithne Last

Eithne Last

After training in London and Southampton Eithne danced professionally on television, in musicals and solo performances.

She has taught extensively throughout southern England; working for theatre schools, colleges of Continuing and Higher Education and private studios. Eithne has been involved with Woking Dance Space since 2002.

Eithne teaches Beginners Ballet, Intermediate Ballet and Contemporary.

Jodie Read

Jodia Read

After training with Susan Robinson School of Ballet from age 3-16 Jodie trained professionally at Laine Theatre Arts where she gained her diploma in Musical Theatre.

She then became a lead production singer with Royal Caribbean where she was selected to sing with guest artists such as Ben Vereen (Fosse, Roots, Pippin).

Jodie then returned to the UK to join the original international tour of Mamma Mia, understudying Lisa. Immediately following the tour Jodie then joined the national tour of Chicago, playing the role of June and understudying Mama Morten.

Jodie then made her West End debut in Mamma Mia playing the Role of Ali, where she stayed until June 2010.

Now, having recently gained her PDTD at the RAD, Jodie is ready to bring her professional experience to the Studio !!

Jodie teaches Contemporary Jazz, Theatre Jazz and Theatre Tap and also teaches for the Susan Robinson School of Ballet.

Tunde Crowley

I breath, eat and drink dance – my passion towards dance has developed almost 20 years ago…and I just can’t get enough!

Teaching and performing has fulfills my giving, experiencing, expressing and creativity side of me!

Tunde is a certified and qualified Zumba Instructor, and is a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. She also holds IDTA Freestyle Associate Teacher Training status and has worked as choreographer and backing dancer for Stagabakk

Tunde teaches Street Jazz and Zumba.

Claire Tabraham

Claire Tabraham

Claire is a qualified dance teacher and regular member of Woking Dance Space, where she enjoys passing on her enthusiasm and passion for dance, teaching adult tap.

Claire has danced from the age of three and has regularly performed in many shows, including performances at the Royal Albert Hall and the New Victoria Theatre. Her choreography has been performed in numerous shows and pantomimes, including venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Docklands Arena and Birmingham Indoor Arena.

She also teaches ISTD tap and modern, is studying to complete her higher level dance teaching qualifications, and teaches adults and young people in various dance workshops and church groups.

Claire feels passionately about the value of Woking Dance Space as a community resource and is looking forward to getting more involved in the life and running of the studio in her new role as a Trustee.

Claire teaches Beginners Tap and Intermediate Tap and is also a Trustee of Woking Dance Space.
