Studio Facilities
The dance studio provides the following facilities:
Main studio
The studio is 15m by 8m (50ft by 26ft approx.), with a semi-sprung floor and a Harlequin dance surface covering the whole area.
Ballet barres are fixed to two walls and mirrors on the third wall. In addition a free standing double length ballet barre is also provided.
Our Portogram music system supports CD and Cassette Tape, with the facility to vary the music speed. This system can also be used with your iPod/MP3 player. We can supply a Mini-Disk player for your hire upon reqyest.
For live accompaniment there is also an upright piano with pianists stool.
Waiting area
Adjoining the main studio is a waiting area and changing area of approximately 3m by 7 1/2m (10ft by 25ft approx.). The main studio can only be accessed through this waiting area, and provides a useful buffer space at class change-over.
There is also an observation window between the studio and the waiting space allowing observations of classes.
