Woking DANCE Space
Dancethon 2004
On Saturday the 4th of September thirty dancers turned up to a sunny Woking Dance Space studio to dance their hearts out, and raise money for a local charity.
The charity for the Dancethon 'Face the Future', was recently been set up by Alison Lane to help children with facial abnormalities after the death of her son Jake.
All the dance styles were represented, with Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Street Jazz and Tap classes. To round it all off we were introduced to the mysteries of 'Swing' dance by our guest teacher Nick.
After all the dancing was over the donations, raffle and sponsorship totalled over £2000!
