Woking DANCE Space
Intermediate Tap
Monday evenings, 8:30pm to 9:30pm
A Tap class for dancers who know the Intermediate steps, perfect for those returning to dance.
This class provides an emphasis on enjoyment during the class, but the steps are designed for those who have some experience of tap dancing, and so more technical steps, exercises and choreography are used. The music is a real mixture to provide something for everyone and allow different styles of tap dance to be explored. The steps and exercises will be paced to suit the class members and will be practised over several weeks to enable students to feel they are progressing technically without allowing them to get bored, or conversely, moving so fast that they don't have time to feel that they've 'got' the new steps.
If you're at all in doubt, why not come along to both the beginners and the intermediate classes so that you can decide which one will suit you best. You're free to switch classes whenever you feel ready, so you can always start off in the beginners and move to the Intermediate class when you're ready. It's brilliant fun and helps keep you fit too, and gives you the chance to meet some great new people.
This class is taught by Claire Tabraham.
